  How are monsters used in inducing fear in the literary work and movies?  

Monsters often emerge as they are the main element in some horror novels, movies or games, in this website, we will discuss in-depth about why exactly do people get scared of the monster and how the authors or producers use different sorts of monster to scare people.

By definition, a monster is any creature, usually found in legends or horror fiction, that is often hideous and may produce fear or physical harm by its appearance and/or its actions.

 

The word "monster" derives from Latin monstrum, meaning an aberrant occurrence, usually biological, that was taken as a sign that something was wrong within the natural order.​
