Monsters often emerge as they are the main element in some horror novels, movies or games, in this website, we will discuss in-depth about why exactly do people get scared of the monster and how the authors or producers use different sorts of monster to scare people.
By definition, a monster is any creature, usually found in legends or horror fiction, that is often hideous and may produce fear or physical harm by its appearance and/or its actions.
The word "monster" derives from Latin monstrum, meaning an aberrant occurrence, usually biological, that was taken as a sign that something was wrong within the natural order.
